A message from the President

President

Welcome to our website for the Rotary Club of South Queensferry's Network Rail sponsored Forth Bridge Raft Race.

This year's event, due to be held on Sunday, May 23, has been cancelled as vital structural repair work is set to be carried out at the Hawes Pier. Our Rotary Club is extremely grateful for the financial support from our sponsors - Network Rail, Targe Towing, BAA and TESCO and all supporters who have made the raft race possible over the years.

Our support from Network Rail continues, but in a different form. This has enabled us to stage an abseil from the spectacular rail bridge. This event will take place on 1 August this year and is a fitting replacement for the raft race in 2010. Full details of the event will appear on our main website. In the meantime, if you wish to register an interest, please click here to email us.

The Rotary Club of South Queensferry is involved in many activities throughout the year. You may have seen us taking Santa around on his sleigh, or stewarding at the Ferry Fair. We will be running our plant sale again this year. This will be held at the Hawes Inn from 10 am to 1 pm. If you want to know more, then visit our own website by clicking the link here, or on one of the Rotary icons a the top of each page.
